Dioscorea Root And Pumpkin Juice

Ingredients:
150 g Pumpkin
100 g Mountain yam
2 cup Unsweetened soybean milk
1 tbsp Pumpkin seeds
2 tbsp Honey

Method:

  1. Rinse pumpkin and remove skin and seeds. Cut into pieces and steam in wok. Rinse and peel fresh dioscorea root and cut into pieces.
  2. Briefly roast pumpkin seeds in oven.
  3. Add pumpkin slices and dioscorea root in juicer. Add unsweetened soybean milk and honey and mix well. Pour into glass and garnish with roasted pumpkin seeds.

Rich in beta carotene, fibre, and proteins. Strengthens weak body constitution, and fights fatigue.


*PS:Besides glucose and fructose, honey also contains traces of pollen which cause small sugar crystals to form if the honey is kept for too long. Neutral in energy and sweet in taste, honey nourishes, dissolves phlegm and tonifies the lungs. There is no side effect even when used in excess in fruit and vegetable juices.
